Baptist East's Sleep Disorders Center features eight sleeping suites, each equipped with a comfortable, full-size bed, shower, restroom, cable television and digital monitoring equipment. While the patient is sleeping, technicians monitor the patient's sleep stages, breathing patterns, heart activity, blood oxygen levels and body movements using state-of-the-art, computerized equipment. Patients can be tested during the day or overnight. The Center is located in the 4002 Building, next to the main hospital.
