Baptist East again a winner in 'Best Places to Work'

For the fourth consecutive year, Baptist Hospital East has been named one of the top 20 "Best Places to Work in Kentucky" by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

The competition, sponsored by Humana, recognizes companies that focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.

Winners are selected in two categories: small/medium-sized companies with 25-249 employees and large-sized companies of 250 or more employees.

Baptist East submitted a detailed cultural analysis of the organization to the Best Companies Group, which selected the winners, and hospital employees were randomly selected for a confidential Best Places to Work survey.

The hospital also receives feedback from the surveys, which will be used to make further improvements.

Among the other Louisville-based companies recognized as among the top rated Best Places to Work in Kentucky are Chilton & Medley PLC; Neace Lukens; Woodward, Hobson & Fulton LLP; Bellarmine University; Sam Swope Auto Group, LLC; and Appriss Inc.
