In 1998, Baptist East was named as one of the nation's 100 Top Orthopedic Hospitals in a research study released by the HCIA-Sachs Institute and the Human Motion Institute™ to identify U.S. hospitals providing the greatest value in delivering orthopedic care.

The next year, Baptist East was selected by HCIA, Inc. and TheHealthNetwork.com as one of the 60 top-performing hospitals for hip replacement procedures.
