Weekly cancer conferences bring together a range of physician and clinical specialists who review individual patient cases. By exploring the most effective treatments -- tailored to the patients’ specific needs -- these specialists aim to speed treatment and improve outcomes through their collective knowledge and recommendations.

The Lung Cancer Conference meets twice monthly to review treatment guidelines in light of patients' symptoms and diagnostic tests in order to plan definitive treatment. The goal is to reduce the time to workup and the initial treatment for patients, thereby improving the patient experience and overall patient outcomes.

Specialists in attendance include thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists.
