Accessing services

A 24-hour Access Center is available to answer your questions about getting help. Through the Access Center, you can be seen by a mental health professional at any time. At the Access Center, our staff meets with you to determine your specific needs and develop a plan for your care.

Family involvement

Your family plays a vital role in your recovery. The Center for Behavioral Health also offers family and couples therapy to help you restore, normalize and enhance your family relationship.

Treatment

Encouraging healthy changes and personal growth is the focus of all treatment programs at Baptist East's Center for Behavioral Health. Your treatment plan will be tailored to meet your specific needs.

The Center for Behavioral Health offers 24-hour care if you are admitted to one of our inpatient units. Staff members structure comprehensive programs to address your needs according to your age and level of illness.

If you are admitted on a partial hospitalization basis, treatment will be provided during the day. Partial hospitalization allows you to spend your evenings at home.

If your treatment is structured on an intensive outpatient basis, sessions can be scheduled up to three hours a day for a maximum of five days a week. Your treatment plan will determine your specific schedule.

If you and your counselor decide your treatment will be most effective on an outpatient basis, individual, family, couples and group counseling are available on an as-needed basis.
