Muscular Dystrophy Clinic
 

Located at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, the Greater Louisville Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic emphasizes total patient care for 40 neuromuscular diseases, including 12 forms of muscular dystrophy. The clinic offers a broad range of services, from complete diagnostic examinations through follow-up. This comprehensive program of medical, therapeutic and counseling services is designed to treat the patient and family -- body, mind and spirit -- at no direct cost to them.

The clinic is on the fourth floor of the hospital's 4002 Building and is open the second, third and fourth Tuesdays of every month from 1-4 p.m. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling (502) 585-4924.

In addition to the clinic, the Greater Louisville Muscular Dystrophy Association provides a summer camp, support group, transportation assistance and selected orthopedic aids to children and adults diagnosed with neuromuscular diseases.
